Mall China
Mall china, (short for Mall China Information Center), is a non-profit organization with the objectives to develop professionalism in the China shopping center industry through international network, research, seminars&conferences and professional training and development. Mall China has been growing rapidly in its membership base and held five annual international conferences to date and also held several regional conferences in Shanghai, Nanjing, Lanzhou and Beijing etc. with combined participants of over 3000 participants.
It has also positioned as an exchange and cooperation platform for developers, investors, operators, retailers, professional service agencies/designers/architects and also garnering feedback with local governments on commercial real estate
Mall China has 600 corporate members and about 2000 professional members from 70 cities across Mainland China, including Hong Kong, Taiwan province and South-East Asia. It is the biggest and most representative non-profit organization in the China shopping center and retail property industry.
Mall China established the first professional shopping center website and shopping center magazine in China. It has conducted specialized professional shopping center training programs and gotten approval for accreditation for conducting training programs in China. During the three years, Mall China has carried out international conferences with professional shopping center associations, with participants across more than 10 nations.
Main Activities and Functions
1. Mall China International Symposium
This was set up in Beijing in November 2003 by Mall China Information Center£¨Mall China£©.It conducts study tours and the conferences were attended by international delegates and international speakers.

3. Advisory Committee
China Shopping Center Special Committee & Mall China Information Center has received approval for accreditation for China shopping center and retail real estate training programs. The Advisory Committee comprise of well-known international and local industry experts, experience shopping center developers, professional managers, retail planners and reputable retail investment organizations. The committee will review relevant programs including conducted professional interviews with students in the final stage of the accreditation process

The main awards are Mall China give away based on strict assessment and evaluation:
Best shopping center landlord, Best shopping center management, Best shopping center service, Best shopping center tenant, Special Contribution to shopping mall Industry Award.

6. Shopping center CSCM, SCDM, SCLM, SCIM are the courses for accreditation established by China Shopping Center Special Committee to retail real estate industry in China.
To date, the number of trainees is over 800 in numbers. The trainee who has passed the exams of CSCM£¨¢ñ/ ¢ò£©¡¢SCDM£¨¢ñ/¢ò£©¡¢SCLM£¨¢ñ/¢ò£©¡¢SCIM£¨¢ñ/¢ò£© will receive certificate as Operations Manager, Development Manager, Investing Manager, Leasing or leasing administrator for completing a course. The trainee will get CMM¡ª Certified Mall Manager , if they pass any three level II modules and any two modules or more of the above and a final report and interview (the essay should pay more attention to investment analysis, trade mix analysis and operating management- 3 key areas.)
7. Websites. Two websites are developed by Mall China www.mallchina.com.cn /www.mallchina.org was established in 2003 contains all resources of retail market information, real estate development updates , finance news, articles from top professionals and it provides the members of Mall china a platform for communication, interaction and business cooperation. In 2006, the old website www.mallchina.com.cn has been change to www.mallchina.org in Oct, As the result, Mall china has a more user friendly website and expanded contents with broaden services for retailers, real estate developers, professional services firms and financial services firms .
8. MALL CHINA magazine. (MALL CHINA )
It is a bi-monthly magazine for members only. It was launched in 2004, and has grown rapidly to be the most authoritative and professional publication, which has nearly ten thousand readers from the Mainland China , SAR ,Hong Kong, Taiwan Province, South-East of Asia and Australia .
9. Mall China Report
With the goal of analyzing city retail real estate and shopping mall situation and trends, this report has become an important reference for different organizations at home and abroad on policy analysis, city development trends, mall projects progress, retail trends, investment news, strategy change etc.
10. Mall China Weekly
It has produced 200 editions and has been in leadership on readership in China retail real estate. The circulation is breaking though 10 thousand copies with increasing month by month at home and abroad.
